Good housekeeping is the foundation of a safe, healthy and pleasant workplace. It is essential that all areas be kept clean, orderly, and with all necessary things in the proper places. Good housekeeping is a day to day activity and should not be viewed as a separate task or something to do after the shift. Clean up time is all the time!
1) Name a few ways you can help to keep the homes clean and tidy?

1) Name a few ways you can help to keep the homes clean and tidy?
A few good housekeeping practices are cleaning after your self and leaving less mess than what you found.
A few ways to keep the homes clean and tidy is by ensuring supplies are put back in their spaces. This is done after employees use them to sanitize and cleanse parts of the home that especially need it. Another way of accomplishing this task is by cleaning up spills and removing stains around the residences. This means utilizing cleaning supplies so that things stay fresh, clean and free of anything that devalues the property or makes it unsightly.
As far as order goes, beds should be made in an orderly, methodic fashion. This means ensuring the mattress pad is on and has on the fitted sheets, flat sheets, comforters, blankets and pillow cases—in that order exactly. They should ha…
Keep work areas organized and clean
Ensure that any pills and other tripping, slipping hazards are cleaned or fixes immediately.
Correct order of bed sheets:
1. Mattress pad
2. Fitted sheets
3. Flat sheet
4. Comforter
5. Blanket
6. Pillow case
Put fitted sheet over mattress,tuck all corners.Put flat sheet on top. Put all equipment up after usage and clean and sanitize always.
At the farm we keep the facility clean by putting away the things back to where they need to be. We also make sure the bathrooms are cleaned and the trash is thrown away after the end of the program. Keeping the facility tidy also ensures that the clients don't trip on any loose hoses or injure themselves on equipment lying around.
