Client Right #2 states: "A right to dignity, privacy, and humane care."
It is best to be prepared in case of an emergency. Many unexpected emergencies such as wildfires, flash flooding, earthquakes or other disasters occur with little to no warning. That's why getting to know the home you work at is a critical part in being prepared and can help to ensure everyone's safety.

All Staff should be able to answer these questions. If you are unsure of any question, discuss with your co-workers and management. Let's make sure we are aware and prepared in case of an emergency situation.

1) PASS stands for Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep.
RACE stands for Rescue, Alarm, Contain, Extinguish/Evacuate.
2) One way to ensure a client has privacy is by closing the door or curtains when assisting them with personal care.

one way to ensure clients privacy is by not talking about clients life outside workspace. Making sure all clients personal data and info is keep locked and secured.

To ensure clients have privacy do not discuss or share any personal information with others who are not authorized, keep all records and or personal information locked away and secure, and always remember to knock and ask permission before entering bedroom/ bathroom.
