It's best to be prepared in case of an emergency! That's why getting to know the home you work at is a critical part in being prepared. Many unexpected emergencies such as wildfires, flash flooding, earthquakes or other disasters occur with little to no warning. That's why knowing what to do will help to ensure everyone's safety.

All Staff should be able to answer these questions. If you are unsure of any question, discuss with your co-workers and management. Let's make sure we are aware and prepared in case of an emergency situation. Then please answer the question below in the blog.
1) What does PASS and RACE stand for?
Pass, Rescue/Alarm/Confine/Extinguish
Pass, Pull/Air/Squeeze/Sweep
P= Pull the pin on the fire Extinguisher A=Aim the Extinguisher nozzle at the base of the fire. S= Squeeze or press the handle. S=Sweep from side to side until the fire appears to be out. R= Remove A=Alarm C=Confine E= Extinguisher or Evacuate
Race: Rescue , Alarm, Confine, Extinguish Pass: Pull , Aim, Squeeze, Sweep
