Good housekeeping is the foundation of a safe, healthy and pleasant workplace. It is essential that all areas be kept clean, orderly, and with all necessary things in the proper places. Good housekeeping is a day to day activity and should not be viewed as a separate task or something to do after the shift. Clean up time is all the time!
1) Name a few ways you can help to keep the homes clean and tidy?
2) Please list the way (order) in which a bed at the facility should be made?





1. Keep work areas organized and clean. Return tools and their correct place after using. Ensure that any spills and other tripping/slipping hazards are cleaned or fixed immediately. 2. Correct order of beds sheets: Mattress pad Fitted sheet Flat sheet Comforter Throw blanket Pillow.
1. Clean as you go, keep surface area sanitized, make sure everything is put away where it belongs. 2. Mattress pad, clean fitted sheet and other sheet and clean comforter with clean pillow case over pillow.
1. A few ways to keep a safe, clean and tidy house is to make sure ALL floors and other surfaces sanitized and cleared of any debris.
2. Making sure all the proper cleaning supplies are stocked and readily available and in fhe proper place.
The order in which a bed should be made is take off and replace cotton comforter, fitted sheet, then flat sheet and then the comforter. Then wash dirty sheets.
1. A few ways to keep the facility clean and tidy is by cleaning and tidying up as you go through out your shift , especially with Covid going around it’s important to keep the homes tidy and sanitized to provide and ensure a safe & stable facility for the clients and staff. 2. The way a bed should be made is by first putting on the bed cover , fitted sheet, flat sheet ,comforter and pillows .
Correct order of bed sheets is: .Mattress pad .Fitted sheet .Comforter .Blanket .pillow case 2- Keep the work areas clean and organized. Return equipment to the correct place after usage and make sure that any spills and other tripping/slipping hazards are cleaned or fixed immediately.
