Not all seizures are are considered a medical emergency. Document the time the seizure started and ended.

Don’t put anything in their mouth, Don’t hold them down, and don’t give them anything orally.

No most seizures aren’t serious medical emergencies. They must be timed and documented from beginning to end and try not to move them

No,most seizures are not considered a medical emergency. It's important to record when the seizure started and ended, and how the person reacted. You should not try to restrain the client or move them.

Most seizures are not considered medical emergencies.

  1. What is important to observe & record?

It is important to have the individual laying on their side. Always record time and place and how long the seizure is. As well as the number of seizures they had. Make sure to record the individual during an episode.

  1. What should you NOT do when assisting someone during a seizure?

We should never administrate CPR during a seizure or give any beverages or food as it can cause them to choke.
