1) 3 things that are considered to be major causes of food borne illness according to the CDC. Dirty and/or contaminated utensils and equipment. Poor employee health and hygiene. Food from unsafe sources. 2)How can we help to prevent food borne illness? Wash hands and surfaces often. Separate: Don't cross-contaminate. Cook to proper temperatures. Chill: Refrigerate promptly.

Three types of hazards: Biological.. Chemical.. Pysical. Help to prevent foodborne illness: temperature of the food .it is important to keep the food at the proper temperature whether it be cold or hot , disregarding the temperatures can cause food borne illnesses such as food poisoning .
